GNR Solar Park

At the 22nd November meeting of the Parish Council, it was agreed that the Environmental Impact Assessment Scoping Report for the Great North Road Solar Park sent by the Planning Inspectorate be made available for residents to review. 

Great North Road Solar Park Environmental Impact Assessment Scoping Report

This is a 206 page document that the Parish Council have to respond to by the 7th December 2023.  We have been advised that the deadline is a statutory requirement and cannot be extended.

The Parish Council has formulated a response to that document and is available below.    

The Solar Construction Traffic Summary has recently been provided by contractors working on behalf of Elements Green.  Members will be considering it at its meeting on 20th November 2024.
